Father Raises Quadruplets Alone After Wife’s Tragic Death
Carlos and Erica Morales were overjoyed to learn they were expecting quadruplets after struggling with infertility. However, their happiness turned to heartbreak when Erica passed away from hypovolemic shockshortly after giving birth to their four children on January 12, 2015.
Carlos was left devastated but determined to raise his three daughters and one son—Carlos Jr., Paisley, Tracey, and Erica—in honor of his late wife. He took parenting classes and received support from Erica’s mother, Sondra Bridges, who moved in to help.
